A Sunday trip to the Memphis Zoo

Rakuette and myself went on a brisk Sunday morning to the Memphis Zoo. Had tons of fun. Played with the pigs. You know, zoo stuff. With my trusty cell phone camera I took some of the ugliest photos ever. Enjoy.

The hippos are finally getting a new living space and that’s way cool. Next year they are opening a wilderness exhibit. Wolves, Elk and Bears. Oh my!

Now if we can only get someone to repair the sad state of the aquarium. I would have taken a few pics of the reef tanks but they were in a pretty bad state. Depressingly so actually. Bio-balls, no. Crushed coral, seriously? The lighting is a joke and the amount of aptasia made me a little ill. I wont even get started on the bubble algae. ugh.
